And all these Little Things! :)

Hola folks! πŸ˜€

Back after a spell of 4 months and it feels extremely fabulous to start writing again. I really did miss it. πŸ™‚

Today’s post is a little close to my heart as it is faced by millions of people across the globe, so not wasting much of your time, lets get started. πŸ˜€

Have you ever paid attention to the small gestures people do for you? The kind of gestures which make you feel so connected to people, when they say things like, “call or text me when you reach”, “oh, I’m not gonna let you do this alone”, “I thought of you when I saw this thing”, “I know you like it that’s why I did it” and many more. Β πŸ™‚ It’s not about who did or said things like these to you instead it’s about knowing that someone out there in this world really cares for you and that you are an integral part of their life. It’s about the joy they get when they do it even if the other person admires it or not because they are pleased that at least they tried something good for someone, so if you cross people who do such small, gracious gestures, then start valuing them because life is not about the temporary joy which you get from materialistic things but its about the moments, memories, smiles which will last with you till your last breath. πŸ™‚

And, you ruin a nice person by taking all this for granted, by taking their love for granted.

You ruin a nice person thinking their kindness is their greatest weakness. :/

You ruin a nice person by advising them they need to change. By choosing someone else who treats you worse. :O

You ruin a nice person by lying to them when all they’ve ever been is sincere. πŸ˜•

You ruin a nice person by leading them on and playing games, when all they’ve been is genuine. 😦

You ruin a nice person when they give you their heart and you don’t realize its value. :/

You ruin a nice person by putting them on the back burner and believing they will always be there. πŸ˜•

You ruin a nice person when you stop meeting them halfway. When you make them try too hard. Care too much. Without giving even a little bit. πŸ˜₯

You ruin a nice person when you snap their heart and make them feel it’s their fault. :O

You ruin a nice person when you walk away and you don’t even care to notice. :@

You ruin a nice person the moment they realize they have to protect their heart.

And they change because of that. They change because they have to. Because if they didn’t change they would keep getting hurt, and eventually no matter what, even the best, kindest and biggest heart can’t handle the pain it didn’t deserve in the first place. 😦

So their heart becomes cold.

Everything about them becomes numb. :/

Their touch is one in the dark that is no longer soft.

Physically they might be there but emotionally they’re checked out. πŸ˜•

Their eyes look at others seeing not the good in them but how they will be deluded. They struggle to trust. o.O

They listen to words strung together that sound nice but don’t believe it anymore.

Their voices become inaudible because they don’t want to waste them. :/

They put up walls no one can get through. πŸ˜•

They learn to shield themselves because they’ve been taught they have to.

This is how you ruin a nice person. 😦

Don’t snub these type of people because a day will come when they would stop with all the polite gestures. Remember these hearts didn’t turn cold unless they were treated awfully, and that’s when you will realize, all they wanted was to give you light when you were in darkness but remember they gave that light by glowing themselves and that glow does not allow the darkness to take over for no reason because behind these small gestures are hearts which will do anything just to see that smile on your face. πŸ™‚

So let’s start appreciating these small gestures so that someday you’ll be a reason behind someone else’s smile. πŸ™‚

Pride and love don’t mix, you either drop your pride for the person you love or lose them over your pride. πŸ™‚
